Trying to Find Jimmy Hoffa are you? I would check daily the marketplace here, Ebay, and if you facebook, there is a Victory buy/sell parts page. Since the demise, they became hens teeth.

I don't facebook, have only read of others mentioning it. It more than likely will become a daily task checking out the first 2 options, or all 3. Just last week some one posted one up for sale here because he didn't want to cut his bag fillers on his X1. I'm sure that is long gone, but might be worth a search.

I ride without mine all the time, if the bike goes down with out the trunk and totaled out, trunk goes full blown retail

To ship something you have to build a box and then pad it so the contents aren't damaged. It's a pain in the butt. Imagine trying to box up something as big as a tour case. If I ever sell my case who ever buys it will have to come and get it.

It should be shipped unassembled ...........Case (plastic or whatever it is ) and then Metal parts separate and unassembled

I agree. The original box was HUGE. Probably cost over a hundred bucks to ship it if you can find one. I'd sell mine but no way am I going to box it up.

Might Part with mine one day for $1500 and can verify it looks Brand New and All Lights and Speakers work perfect as it's mounted on the Bike now .. The guy I bought it from even offered $1500 off if didn't want the Trunk as he had several willing to pay it locally, but still might want it to Travel with this summer.. But as others said if I do sell it, come and get it because not about to box and ship it the way I see shipping handlers throw stuff around these days and that includes UPS, Fed Ex, and Post Office all three ..
