I bought one of those Carpuride Android Auto/Apple CarPlay screens. Here's how I hardwired it into the fairing.
When you take out the headlight, there are usually a couple of unused wires in the bottom left hand side (brake side) of the fairing.
I was able to use the dark blue and pink hot wire and the black ground wire. You need to get the male spade connector and that will plug right in to the female spade connectors on those two wires. Once the spade connectors are plugged in then just run the wire along the same path as the the wires for the stereo that go up the handlebar control on the clutch side.
It's a keyed circuit so it only draws power when they ignition key is in the on position and the run/kill switch is also in the on position.
That's it. With the right connectors and crimpers it'll take about 30 min.
I hope that helps anyone who's looking at wiring the device into the fairing.
