Hey all!!
I'm most likely going to get custom rims and put the 280mm Metz ME880 onto my '07 Jackpot when I return from Iraq....
I have rims choosen with a 10x18" rear, 21" front with matching rotors and pulley.
Two questions....
1) Can someone tell me the width of the 21" front rim? (Kinda hard to measure from Baghdad!)
2) Other than going from a 8.5" to a 10" rim... is there anything else required to change? Drive pulley... anything?

To All,
I appreciate the Thanks and Prayers. Due to limited sattelite bandwith streaming video is blocked asare forums. We'll see how long I can use this link before someone picks up on it and blocks it. I will have to go to the MWR (Morale, Welfare, and Recreation) tent to access the video's.
I have time yet to work through my 280 questions before I redeploy. My dealership, JPM Powersports,Hopkinsville, KYknows the answers. They have put the 280 on Jackpots in the past. They are alsoare the ones who turned my hometown folks to your site. I figured I'd field the questions here so the knowledge would be shared.

Just by looking and not actually measuring my 21" wheel on my Jackpot, it looks to be about 3 to 3 1/3 " inches wide. Stay safe and a speedy return.

The front wheel of a Jackpot is 2 1/2". Besides upgrading to the 10.5" rear wheel, no additional parts (pulley, etc) will need to be purchased. However, you will want to have the bolts inside the fender (at the fender struts) ground down flush, notch the belt guard where the wheel will marry up with it, and probably go ahead and relocate the wiring harness to the ridge in the center of the fender to protect yourself from ripping that thing out with that wide tire.

Hope this helps.

Hmmmm 300 eh?
Regretfully... kinda... the Fatty is on hold. I have volunteered for 6 months inAfghanistan after only two weeks leave after Iraq. During those two weeks I'm going to pick up my "new" bike.... a 1970 Triumph Bonneville Chopper. POW/MIA motif. The new rims and tires for the Jackpot are a full 1/3 of the price of the Bonnie. Maybe I'll look at Wedging a Fatty in the spring on my return from "The Ghan".
I appreciate all of the input provided!! It will definately be stuck in my head!!
