I was actively participating on the page, today a lot of us were talking about the new Yamaha touring bike, ADMINS apparently decided we cannot talk about other bikes there and when I pointed it out, without as much as a warning I was kicked out of the page...LOL....looks like the admin there is an 8 yr old toddler maybe?...Funny part is that I have seen a LOT of posts making fun of Harley motorcycles and those never get deleted, but this post about that bike was of a lot of people stating is actually a good bike and I guess the admin there decided that when someone likes other bikes that are not vics, the post must come down and people involved kicked out of the page....I find it hilarious and I am glad is not like that here, I was a little put off by some rude members too so I am not all that sad I'm not there anymore, people here seems to be more civilized (even tho I know a lot of you are part of that FB page as well)...

Rant over, just thought it was funny! :angel4::angel4::bsflag:

This is one reason I stay away from anything facebook. You got a lot of morons there .....all opinion, no experience. Oh, look, Here's a face book motorcyclist now, getting ready to show us his riding skills.

He just needs a minute to remember which end houses the controls.

What, are you serious??!! Real bikers discussing motorcycles. Especially new models!! Don't be absurd. On facebook, the important topics are where I took my bike to eat, and how does my ass look on this bike. There's not time to talk about HP< TQ, handling, what the hell do any of these things have to do with riding. It's about the color of my Designer helmet, and what sunglasses are correct to accessorize. Get real.

And new models??!! Forget it! We can't talk about such things, cause I haven't even had a chance to see whether or not my new Gucci Boots will match the paint scheme. Unrealistic expectations. You people get a grip.

I dropped out of that group a long time ago, bunch of cry babies intimated by Harleys, I got tired of the whining.

People ask a legitimate question and they get ridiculed also. Yes way to much BS to wade through. Tim the guy that runs the site really is a good guy maybe one of the other group admins bounced you out.

I don't have, and NEVER will have a Facebook acct... but with the masses droving there like sheep it makes keeping in contact and keeping up with stuff difficult sometimes. Meh.. I'll be the hermit on my bike that no-one knows cuz I don't have my FB id emblazoned on my tank or something.

Social media is a good tool, but a lot of people use it more as a cult...Me, I use it to remain in touch with family outside the US and a tool to find good deals on Vic parts...also useful in situations like Hurricane Irma where a lotta locals put up useful info there...I don't go crazy posting food pics or looking for likes, they kicked me out, I gave them my opinion about it and they even told me to send a request to join again and it would be approved, but honestly the fact that they kicked me out for the reason they did is already too much drama for me, so I wont go back...I'll find my VIC info here, we still have a lot of Aholes but I've grown to like most of them...lol

I posted a link to the bikes review...got deleted...but I did not receive any communication from the admin. I have been warned privately to stop posting about certain subjects in the past ...so I did... no issue...Usually it's a 1-2-3 strikes you're out situation...

If it makes you feel any better... I have been kick off several forums...I can't figure out why...:aktion086:

Fu ckem if they can't take a joke...:buttkick::devil3::work5:

...the relative anominity of the internet seems to bubble the calouse and a-hole out of some that wouldn't necessarily exhibit this behavior in a face to face meeting - flaming - name calling - and trolling others who do not share you perspective is a symptom this new tech age ...but that also doesn't mean we should tolerate it either
