Major Issue!!Have a `11 Cross Country. Wanted to have a louder horn to notify Cage Drivers that I am in their area or at intersections. OK, the unit comes with a 4 pin relay. #30, 86,85 & 87. Instructions state: Power wire from battery to #30(with a fuse inline). #87 to the New Air horn. Ok, it states using the orignal horn wies to go to #85 & #86. One being the + and the other being the - ( by the way which wire is the original (-), the black or the Gray? Heading across the western US to the East coast, so sure could use some noise as a safety! Tried different combo`s and still no luck! Shipping Bike Sunday! What am I missing?? Anybody!!??

OK, I hear you! But could you have a look at what Stebel recommends as an install ( Diagram). Tell me what you interpet from that wiring diagram.

Hi all! Disaster averted, thanx to all of you and your advice! Would you believe two new faulty Relays! Thanx JD and SilvrT! Unit makes noise now!! Will be a great asset on the trip!
