OK, I know this is an apples and oranges question, but I am 6'2 and have a Vision I am restoring and also have a Boardwalk (I just got). I am surprisingly comfortable on the BW but now a beautiful CR came up for sale and I am considering it. Would still keep the Vision until I have her ready to go but am seeing the BW as a bigger brother to the BW and may be more comfortable for now. Any CR riders spend any time on the BW and how would you compare? I know there is suspension difference and the weight is less on the BW while the CR is a bit longer and more stretched. Just trying to think if for around town is better on the BW and maybe the CR is more flexible for short and longer trips.

Thoughts?

I seriously considered a Boardwalk before buying my Hard-Ball (CR). I’m positive I made the best decision possible as I find the Hard-Ball as close to perfection as a motorcycle (for me) can get. after 10+ years, I’m also still in love with my CCT.

My vote is very enthusiastic for the Cross Roads. You’d very likely, and very quickly then decide to sell the Boardwalk.

When I went from my Kingpin to the CR, the CR felt much heavier. I guess, because it was. After a few rides I got to love it. Now i'm neglecting my other three bikes. Shame you don't know someone close with a CR. Maybe at BJ's Saturday.

I might be out a BJs Saturday not sure yet. I don't think I have anything to lose going to the CR from the BW. May keep both when it is all said and done?

Apparently we have different understandings of a BJ, seriously doubt I was the only person that got all excited for nothing.

My suggestion is go ride one.
The floorboards can be adjusted forward, mid or back.
I don't think I'll ever sell mine.
The tires themselves and tire pressure can make a huge difference in how it rides.
I hated the stock handlebars though...hurt my elbows.
