thinking about buying a bike from out of state. it located in New York he is asking 8000 obo the bike is an 09 with 10,740 miles on it. it is an 8ball Jack Pot from what I see in the pictures the bike seems to look good in pictures . I would have to fly up to purchase it but before I purchase it i want to have the bike gone over so that way there is no surprises. now my ? is this how much would you offer him for the bike keep in mind riding season is coming to a end soon in my state . I have to fly up to get it and ship it back cause I have to do this in a 24 hour round trip and fly back plus getting the bike checked out what would guys offer him and why. looking for feed back on this because I don't want to come across rude or insulting to the owner or anyone in this group either.

I recently saw a 14 JP with 1200 miles go for $8k. I would seriously hold off and wait it out. Also, I wouldn’t travel that far for for a bike you don’t know much about and the owner doesn’t seem to know much about. The bike buying season is almost upon us, just wait for the right one to come along. There are some great specimens out there, just gotta find them.
