Interesting. After adjusting for the cost to wind down Victory in an effort to compare 2016 first quarter gross profit with Victory against 2017 first quarter without Victory the results: 2016 GP - $27.3 million, 2017 (adjusted) GP - $18.7 million. Which they attribute to priduct mix....no kidding.
Here's what this tells me. Taking Victory out resulted in a reduction of $8.6 million in gross profits ($27.3 - $18.7). Well, $8.6 million of $18.7 million is 46% of their motorcycle GP.
Yup, it makes clear sense why they discontinued Victory. Whatever Polaris!!
