Honestly, I am not that much in need, nor do I fully understand how the pay for such things is determined, But.........I WOULD be happy to get paid just one million dollars for each of only three of the things I've fukd' up in my lifetime.


If I could get paid for all of my fk ups, now we're talking some serious money!!

For me, after all the talk and angst. All the hand wringing and complaining it has come down to only one thought, and when I ponder it, it is indeed a sad thought. Many have alluded to it, and maybe some have said it, but It came clear to me reading what @notaharley had to say, and the article that preceeded it.

The potential that the Victory motorcycle holds was never developed, and probably won't be (in the public market). I think we had a Beethoven Symphony in our grasp, but they settled for chop stix.

I wouldn't say it's a widespread practice, but I have seen that whole board member/Ceo relationship become politicized. In that case it can be a very bad thing. Fortunately the better companies will limit board terms.
