New poster here. I wonder if Polaris would of just downsized Victory for a while, maybe just make one or two models (Vegas and Cross Country), maybe business would of picked up for Victory after a few years and then expand again. It almost seems like Polaris tried to make Victory too big, too soon.

Since this is the venting thread; I'm still pissed about sending letters to everyone on the board of Polaris about reviving Victory and not getting one single reply. I'm pretty sure the entire package of letters never made it past the mail room before hitting the circular file cabinet (trash can).

If someone else with some deep pockets bought Victory with all rights, prints, plans, and tooling; I bet they would do very well.

Polaris business decision makers are idiots. Having said that; for whatever reason the word about what great bikes the Victory's are was never really understood by the masses. It seems like those of who bought Victory's were mostly outside the box thinkers who like to go their own way and do things different than the masses or just stumbled on a good deal or something similar.
BBob, that's a bunch of bs, that not one of them can give you the time of day for that.

Hi all, I m new to this forum. I would like to know if I m making a huge mistake...I have just booked a Victory High ball 2014 model, that has been sitting in the dealership for past few years. Currently, due to Polaris shut down the brand they are letting it go 50% off the MSRP.
I will be committing high amount of borrowing and rather significant amount of month installment.

Am I making a mistake or right choice? For something that the manufacturer is abandoning? Or right choice for getting it cheap and owning a legecy, my bike is late new bike in Malaysia
In my opinion, at the deal you got, your getting a hell of a bike.
