New tire, why take a chance

The reason why I am asking is, currently I a building my house so funds are low right now
Your ass is worth more than a tire...

I went out one day, had tread on the tire come back, thankfully had a new set of tires... I wore em out!! Check your tread depth in center of tire, I don't see the wear bars.... I think I see some cuts on the other edges of tire, but can be artifact of picture....

Motorcycle Tire Wear Bars How to know it is time to replace your tires? - South Texas Biker Magazine

200 bucks for a tire, shouldn't hurt too bad.
Hurt a whole lot less than when it tears your fender, or throws ya off, and wait for tow with gravel in your back..

feel your pain, but what would it cost time and money if you were forced to change it on the road? If I get 8,8k out of a rear I'm doing cartwheels, in my head that is. BTW, enjoy your trip.

I got 14k out of E3. I currently have the E4's on and at 10k they look new. I have heard of a few getting 20k out of them. Didn't believe it but I do now. That tire is ok for the trip as long as it is dry out and not very hot. When tread wears down, the heat of the road will finish the tire off quick. I definitely wouldn't want to be out in the rain either. Getting a new tire is definitely a good choice instead of chancing it. Have a safe trip!

That tire is shot! Worn down to the wear bars. Good choice to change it NOW.

How about some photos of your front tire so we can spend more of your money. But save your life.

I bought and mounted a set of Avon Cobras. They say riding them is like your bike lost 200lbs. Wow!! Exactly what I thought. Amazing how light the bike now feels. Loving it.
