I'm looking to get a new seat for my 2016 vegas. It has the stock seat and about 45 mins into a ride my bottom starts going numb and my back starts hurting. Looking for suggestions on a nice comfortable seat. I'm a bigger guy about 270. Any suggestions would be appreciated thanks

I'm interested in an option on my Gunner as well. I know the Gunner isn't made for touring comfort but being a big fella, I usually ride alone so I don't hold others up with stops.

The Drag Specialties Low Profile Touring seat was the answer for me. The stock seat was killing me after 30-45 minutes. Now I can literally ride all day. The backrest is a game changer too.

I hear the Mustang seats are great but I don't care for the look and they cost a lot more than the DS.

The problem with seats is that the suggestions offered are personal. What fits one a$$ won't fit another. And to bite the bullet and buy a thousand dollar seat might find you sorry as hell. Why not try one of those inflatable seat pads that are adjustable pressure-wise. Way cheaper than taking a thousand dollar chance and one might just work for you.

This is good advice. I have an AirHawk I absolutely LOVE. I won't do long rides without it. How good is an airhawk? I rode from Virginia to Indiana on my old Magna bobber and I am 100% POSITIVE it wouldn't have been possible had I tried without it. Let me be 100% Crystal clear here... IMPOSSIBLE. Not "Oh it would have hurt" I physically would not have been able to endure the pain of the solo seat:

It's 10 hours each way and without the Airhawk the longest I ever went without pain was 30 minutes. An hour on it was agonizing.

Hello Gents, I just listed Drag Specialties Solo Seat with the backrest option in the Market place. The seat is in like new condition. I replaced it with a Corbin Young guns to improve the look after adding saddlebags to my Highbsll. Great opportunity for someone looking to upgrade their seat at a fraction of the cost of new.

BLASPHEMY!!!

The bike will go anywhere you want to ride it! Just carrying stuff with you gets tricky. Last summer I took mine on a 5600 mile down to west Texas and into New Mexico. (With the stock seat) The bike don't give a damn how far it is,. It will get you there. I will admit that I wish I had the cushier Seat I have on now.

Nice! And I agree, the Gunner will go the distance. But(t), I tip the scales at 310, so the "seat time" gets a little sore at times!

That's why VICTORY called VEGAS a CRUISER....seat only good to cruise bar to bar:beer3:

My combo worked great for me, AFTER wife said YOUR bike...ok'd SOLO seat. (there's a seat for any a$$)

1. MUSTANG SEAT
2. FLOORBOARDS

#1 after....#2 before

First ride was just under 300 miles, felt same when I got off, as if rode my CC 8-BALL:dance:

You only have me by 50 pounds or so,. I get what you're saying. While changing the seat will help, adding crash bar/engine guard with highway pegs will help just as much. The big pack on the back looked awkward, but it was super comfy to lean back against. It was like having a lazy boy for a backrest. Basically if you can adjust your position or move around a bit on the bike you can ride for hours.

Seriously,. It's a 4hr one way ride to my favorite burger place. (Denny's Beer Barrel Pub) And I like my bacon cheeseburgers.

I had the red Victory seat,. The one in the pictures is the stock black one (exact same as the red) that had been recovered along with a passenger seat & small backrest so the material and color would all match. As nice as it looked I still prefer the look of the bandit seat,. I just have to get it recovered.
