Well I have been riding Street Bikes since I Turned 18 Mom forbid them Joined the Army bought first one after Basic 1987. Been thru the Crotch Rocket Stage needing to go fast all the time. My last Three bikes have been Cruisers. Went on a Charity run recently to get to the start I rode 150 miles alone did the Poker run and met some others that lived my direction but about 50 miles closer decided what the hell I would ride back with them. Well the five of us took off from the gas station and got out on the freeway doing about 85 mph then meet up with traffic and it was a weaving in and out of traffic game for about 10 miles not my Style so I slowed down set my cruise at 65 mph and enjoyed my solo 140 mile ride. Is my thinking that far off I enjoy riding seeing the scenery and relaxing letting it all go away not the stress of dealing with the cagers .

I've seen way too many accidents while group riding in my younger days, so I tend to avoid them.
I won't pass on a double yellow line, so some group riders would leave me behind.
I won't tailgate because I've seen too many seat cushions, ladders, wooden pallets, and deep chuckholes suddenly appear from underneath the vehicle in front of me.
A typical ride for me is to fill the tank and then not stop until it needs filled again.
5 MPH over the speed limit is perfect unless I'm challenging some nice twisty road.
When passing a truck I "get er done" quickly.
I do my best to stay out of people's blind spots.
I watch the front tires of other vehicles to determine what they are going to do.
Looking at the other driver's eyes tells me nothing.
I ride with my left handlebar grip hovering over the centerline, that way oncoming traffic sees me and anyone thinking of passing a line of traffic from behind doesn't mistakenly believe that the space I'm occupying is an empty hole.
On long trips I like to average 750-800 miles per day.
