bought a pure carbon Lazer Falcon helmet this winter with a transitions shield, yesterday being quite nice at 65 degrees took my first ride this season. i can't believe a helmet can be so comfortable + light, its said to be shaped for cruisers, theres very little feeling that your head is pushed around. i got mine at RevZilla + see they still only $240 with regular shields!!! roads are still quite dirty with lots of gravel from winter cindering, gotta be xtra cautious at intersections, i really enjoyed the ride after a long cold snowy winter, once pro football is done time moves pretty slow, really glad i can play in the garage!!!

i got the white one even though black is a color fav it absorbs more heat from summer sun. having had several black cars i can attest to the difference. the transitions shield is a good addition eliminating glare from varying conditions while riding, vents work well also. i am not generally a helmet guy especially in hot weather but this may change with this excellent "brain bucket"

transitions shield is great, been partially blinded by suns glare on a clear shield on another helmet, only some helmets have fitments for a shield like this, well worth the xtra $$$ IMO
