I am in the process of doing that exact thing to my '04 Vegas. I have procurred V Rod brake and hydraulic clutch controls, silver in color and a pair of sweet silver switch assemblies. I also found a year old Victory clutch slave cylinder and line. The reasons for my change over are mainly due to the fact that I also own a Harley, and when I ride one and then the other, I sometimes get all "thumbs" when working the switches. Making the controls the same on both bikes simplify that. Plus, I just perfer the looks of the late model Harley controls. Added bonuses are... I can mount the turn signals (with running lights) right under the clutch and brake perches. When wiring is all competed, my turn signals will auto cancel with the use of an aftermarket canceling module. And having a larger choice of mirrors to choose from (although I prefer the factory HD late style). There will be some issues to over come such as making the wiring work..easy, and that Harley bars are dimpled for the wiring to exit the switch housings (Victorys are not) I think i've found a set of bars made for internal wiring that should help sove that problem. Only thing left is to come up with a way to fit the fast idle control somewhere under the tank where it can be accessed for cold starts. Sacriledge... maybe. But when it come to my comfort, saftey and being able to react quickly and not be all thumbs on the controls.......

Here's a photo of what i've accumulated so far......

I also got a set of damaged donor Victory switch controls so as to mate the wiring harnesses so it will plug into the factory harness and be reverseable if needed.
