I have a 2013 CCT that I purchased new from Coastal Victory in May of 13. I live in NY and when I was down for bike week in 2014, I showed them my saddle bag latch that was wearing through and the bad welds on my saddlebag guard rails where rust was beginning to show.
They took pictures and said they would contact Victory to see what could be done on my behalf. When I was there in October, I was told that they would replace the bag latch but didn't have the parts but assured me they would take care of it when I was back down in May 2015. So this May, they replace my worn bag latch, using my existing lock and other hardware. They also told me that while Victory wasn't going to do anything for me on the bag bars, they would make good on them as a goodwill gesture. Unfortunately, they couldn't get the parts but said they would ship them to me in NY once they were able to get them. Not expecting them any time soon, imagine my surprise when a box arrived with my new bars this past week. The new rails are installed and the weld issue has been fixed on the new ones. The old ones will be shipped back to Coastal.
We're always quick to point out the bad dealers and I just want to recognize a great dealer in Coastal Victory for their stand up approach to customer service.
