Having a Kingpin and an XC(T) - I also have the trunk when needed; I enjoy both bikes but I must say the KP is just more fun to ride around town due to being lighter. That isn't to say the XC is a pain, it isn't, it's just that I feel that extra weight and ride accordingly. However; the wind control on the XC is much better since I got the right combination of equipment (JTD lowers, Madstad shield brackets and correct shield for my height)

The Hardball will feel different than my XC though. That front fairing and all the extra stuff in it adds up to some significant weight. I have only ridden an XR once but it felt good and light. The X bikes handle surprisingly well for their size and weight. So do the Vision's.

Bottom line is you should have no trouble at all with the difference. If you need to adjust the seat or ride height due to your size; all of that is very easily done.
