Hey fellow pilots, I have finally found the bike I always thought I owned. In the last 5 years I have owned almost every Harley bagger they make minus the Road Glide. I must admit I thought they were the cat's meow and laughed at Victory anytime I seen one although never having riden one. Well last year it was cold outside and I was itching to ride so I phoned my best friend who owns a 2013 Vision. Borrowed his bike for a 100 mile ride in the 40 degree weather after he kept going on and on about how amazing his bike performed and how warm it was in the cold weather. Needless to say the wife was in my ear the entire ride telling me how amazing it was for her but I had still yet to admit it was superior to the Hog lol.
Jump to July and my friend and myself are returning home from a weekend ride and 5 minutes before were set to leave on the 200 mile ride home it starts to pour down rain. We saddle up and ride halfway home to a local hole in the wall to get lunch and at this moment it hits me I have been dooped. As I'm changing my soaking wet clothes from head to toe and pouring water out of my boots my friend is taking pics of me and laughing as he sits bone dry outside the bar. Luckily he's a nice guy and loaned me his spare set of dry boots for the ride home.
I proceeded to take pictures of the Harley in the restraunt parking lot and post them to Craigslist and 7 days later it was gone and the next day we ventured to Waterloo Iowa to buy my very first Victory. I am now piloting a 2013 Victory Vision. The bike came with 12,000 miles and a few extras. Shorter tinted windshield, Stage 1 exhaust, filler panel to remove the trunk, Lloydz vm1 cams, Lloydz fuel tuner, Lloydz timing wheel, brand new E4 tires, lower wind deflectors, Garmin Gps, Sirius/xm radio saddle bag and trunk liner bags a jacket for me and my wife and with a helmet for the Mrs. Purchased for $10,000. It is by far the greatest bike I have ever riden and now I know I'm riding the bike I always thought I was!!!
