Joined this forum because I purchased a Vegas 2008 great price with low mileage. Always liked the looks of a victory and quality over Harley. Although I do like a couple Harley models that victory never offered.
I have done some reading and searching about lowering my Vegas. Read many opinions and options. I want to be sure 100% positive before I buy the bones. What is the absolute lowest I can go without any complications like hitting tail light wires or rubbing bolts kick stands. I know I will have to adjust the shock rebound. And is the lowest I can go without complications worth doing. Will it make that much of a difference when looking at the bike. Or do you have to drop it majorly to change the look of the bike. I just want to install and go. Also I read of a guy dropping his bike 2.5 inch and grinding down 2 bolts and adding zip ties to the tail light. Took 45 minutes. Is it really that easy to go Lower. I could deal with that.
