You never were a biker. You are a motorcycle enthusiast who's running across wannabees and posers while out enjoying your ride.

I seeand meet guys (and girls)all the timewho got their first tattoo at 35 andbought their first bike (usually a Harley) at 40. Purchased everything in the store that had HD on it from the jacket to the sticker for the back window of their Harley Davidson Ford truck sitting in the parking lot then ride to the closest bar in all this garb and talk tough. This is not a lifestyle....it's a midlife crisis.

I was born this way. I am who I am and I won't change for anyone. I had these same values when I was a teenager and they just get stronger as time goes on. I have my opinions but I keep them to myself unless asked or a quality conversation requires them.Someone stated a few posts back that people throw around the term 1% or outlaw. I am neither. I don't wear a patch or have any affiliation with anyone but my TRUE biker, riding, brothers. Wearing a patch and riding a HD doesn't make you a biker anymore than the weekend enthusiast wearing too much leather. My general experience has proven that most guys wearing a patch are nothing but criminals and chicken **** when they have to stand alone.

I know TRUE bikers that don't even have a motorcycle. The toughest"biker" I know rides a Honda Shadow 1100 Ace. It is a lifestyle, not about your ride. We are categorized by society asbikers because we ride motorcycles and the term "Biker" has been tarnished by some bad apples, poser and wannabees.
