The Victory dealer in Latrop/Stockton area of California closed. Was stopping by to look at some gear and was surprised that they closed. On their website at http://www.deltapowersports.com/ has the following message: Delta PowerSports, Inc. Store Closing Announcement Friends, Colleagues and Customers It is our regret to announce we have closed our doors. Under difficult economic odds we managed grow the business each year because of two things, outstanding employees and awesome customers. But, in the end the FDIC takeover of County Bank of Merced three months after our opening date in October of 2008 and all the ramifications that followed was too much to overcome. We would like to thank all of our loyal customers who made it a great experience and an honor to do business.

Delta Power Sports has opened a store in Merced CA. I should say almost opened a store. I have been by there 5 times and each time they have been closed. They have a sign on the door with a phone number to call if you have any questions!!! Not the best way to sale bikes. I doubt if I will do any business with them at this point. I'll ride the extra 65 miles to go to Arlen Ness's shop in Dublin where I have been very pleased with thier service and knowledge.

I agree, too bad. They had a pretty good inventory of accessories and clothing. I go to Twin Rivers Polaris in Yuba City and they are great. Arlen Ness of course has a nice set-up. Since it is xmas time and we all put in our requests for stuff for our bikes, I thought letting those in the area know that Delta had closed was informative. Really sad though.

Times are hard... large companys are just now feeling the crunch. They were able to stick it out threw the begining. But its not moving forward as fast as it should. Some business' feel the economy while other skate right threw it. Its not fair sometimes that rock stars.. athletes... and race car drivers... just to name a few.. are not effected like the rest of us are. Good thing we can ride our bikes or it would really be bad. LOl Sorry to hear another bike store is out of business.
