These custom made tour packs are very nice. Of course the price tag is impressive as well but at least someone is making these available at a time when a lot of parts makers and sellers are winding down (unfortunately). I picked the options I would use and it came out $2,600 shipped.

Wow, that’s about double what an OEM complete CCT trunk assembly would cost on eBay. There are two CCT trunks on eBay now. One Red/Silver one for $1,600 (Tyler, TX) and one Sunset Red one for $1,885 (INCLUDING Shipping). These are the asking prices. The Make Offer option is often times your friend. Even when the Make Offer option isn't shown, I've bought many eBay items by sending the seller a message through eBay.

Defeats the purpose unless all you want is a place to hide your amps IMHO. If that's the case an generic aftermarket. The only time my trunk is on is when I'm on a road trip, and it's full.

I put one of these on a 1999 FLH I had back 2008 or so. Worked fine but it wasn't as classy as some but it was under $100 for the pack and mounts.
It didn't last long on the bike though. I just didn't like the look if I didn't need it. I soon went with a Ginz sissy bar which coincidentally fit my 11 XC where it still sits to this day.

i really like some of HMD's stuff, but their prices always seem a lot higher than necessary for what they are. i mean, just like WVRider said, that trunk is only slightly larger than the generic "pizza box" or Razor tour packs. i mean they will paint it and you have your choice of chrome or black mounting, but almost $1000 over anything available right now for much less space than the OEM trunk or about the same space as the smaller packs? o_O

Works out to $3700 Canadian, half the price for a used Vic depending on the model. No thanks. It could sit there and spit nickels for all I'd care. You must be really desperate for one or loaded with ca$h.

The two oem CCT trunks I posted about on eBay can likely be had for under $1,300. IMHO, no other trunk on a Victory, or an Indian, looks better than the oem CCT trunk. Ny CCT trunk hasn't left it's CCT trunk hanger attached to my garage wall. When I go on a trip, for me, I either put a big bag on the passenger section of the seat or on the Victory accessory Passenger Backrest/Luggage Rack accessory. I have a chrome one for the CCT and a black one for the Hard-Ball. I didn't pay over $150 for either one, both in NOS condition.

I'm not looking to sell my glorious in gloss pearl white CCT trunk. But I also don't see myself using it.

The extra weight is one issue and frankly, I can carry more, and more conveniently in a waterproof bag.

Personally, the pizza box trunks never made a bit of sense to me.

But I'm thrilled others love them and those who build them find buyers.
