My former 2011 Crossroads horn had a buzzing beep instead of a normal beeping sound. Thought it was normal until I heard another Cross bike horn while at my local dealer. He rolled mine into the shop and I think, he bent the horn away from an area it was vibrating against. I traded my Cross Roads for a 2011 Cross Country and it also has a distorted sound to the horn which is not nearly as loud and clear as well as having the same buzzing sound. Anyone else had this issue and know how to fix it. I suspect it also is rubbing against or touching something. I'm technically challenged so be as descriptive as possible if you know the fix. PS stopped to show the new scooter to a Harley (2011 Streetglide) neighbor down the street. He kept saying how much he liked the looks of my Cross Country (White/Silver). Then he said "The Victory kinda looks like Miss Universe standing next to Mrs. Doubtfire".

I've had good luck with the [link='http://www.ryderfleetproducts.com/ryder/af/ryder/core/content/product/srm/oid/49951/erm/productDetail.do?utm_source=googlebase&utm_medium=search&utm_c']Flamm Low Note car horn[/link]. Plugs right in. I did get a longer bolt that holds the top of the side cowl on, used some spacers, and mounted the horn just outside the side plate. It's black so it blends right in and it sounds like a healthy American car horn with good volume. Probably get them at most any auto parts store. No relay or anything needed. Plug and play. The stock horn sounded a bit like a mouse in heat or something. I was actually embarrassed to use it. :D

Does this replacement horn fit in stock location behind the "cow catcher" or Chin as Victory refers to it?

Thanks BBob, but question, Isn't it facing the wrong way? Looks like its blowing at the side and slight towards rider.

and.... you're happy with it blowing at you???? You must have VERY loud pipes! I have lowers and i does look like it will fit, but I think I want it blowing forward. Is this thing water proof?

Mike, I'm not sure you are actually reading my posts. The picture is the way I use to have it. Not that I used my horn much but it was there and plenty loud if needed. You should never point a horn into the wind or upright because bugs and water will get in there and trash it. It hardly rains where I live so I was in good shape with the horn located on the side the bike lean on. Even if it did rain; the chance of water getting to the horn where it was mounted in front of the front cylinder where between slim and none. I did remember to take a pic today but I'm too tired to download and post it right now. I'll do it as soon as I can within reason. Do whatever you think is prudent with your horn situation. Sigh.
