How do you guys find the clear coat quality of these bikes. I received my XC-T last week, brand new, and I notice that the clear coat scratches insanely easy. Whether its the lowers, gas tank, front fairing or saddle bags, the slightest touch of even your clothes will scratch it. I have to take a microfiber cloth and polymer wax to remove them, but some don't completly get removed. Are you all living the same issue? The bike has 34km!!!!

Ready to pull trigger on new XC-T but clear coat issue has me vapor locked. Has anyone tried any of the clear coat sealing products like Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0? Currently ride a 2003 vegas and still look showroom even with me riding pretty much all year in all weather. Just takes a waxing every couple months. Clear coat issues I have been reading about have me worried I will be spending more time maintaining than riding average about 13k a year with out trips. Thanks, I have ridden one a couple times and as long as I have a good solutioin in mind of how to handle known issues. I will be writting a check. The biggest issue for me is 30+ years of engineering problem solutions keeps me from buying until I know I have it covered. And have been spoiled by my vegas. Low Low Low maintenance, just pure riding. quick wash down, and back on road. I know the XC-T is in my near future.
