Like others after having a rear flat tire and searching this site, YouTube, as well as others, I could not find much help on how to actually remove the tire and what to expect. Its really simple. I thought I would add photos for others. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO REMOVE THE BAGS. SEE PHOTOS BELOW
STEP 1. Raise and lower bike to get it leveled on your jack stand. LOWER IT BACK DOWN.
STEP 2. Loosen and remove the BOLT AND NUT off the lowering link, and separately off of THE SHOCK.
STEP 3. RAISE JACK UP. As you raise the jack and bike, the rear wheel will stay on the ground. As the bike raises upward YOU WILL SEE THE REAR AXEL BOLT LOWERING INTO VIEW. Your basically lifting the bike exposing the rear axle bolt.
STEP 4. NOTE BELT ALIGNMENT NOTCHES AND MARKINGS. (its on notch 3 or 4)
STEP 5. REMOVE AXEL BOLT AND ADJUSTER PLATE
STEP 6. REMOVE REAR AXEL. NOTE: you may have to tap it outward. ALSO NOTE REAR CALIPER WILL FALL AT THIS POINT SO HAVE ANOTHER SET OF HANDS TO CATCH IT! Axle adjusters will not come out try not to move adjuster bolts. Move wheel forward and remove belt off pulley.
STEP 7. RAISE BIKE HIGHER and remove wheel outward. I had to tilt bike forward to raise rear end for clearance. made it easier to remove wheel. I have a trailer hitch. DONT LOOSE DUST COVER AND SPACER IN THE RIM, MIGHT STILL BE ON AXLE. Know its easy to loose.
STEP 8. LOOK UP INSIDE THE WHEEL WELL AND INSPECT INSIDE AND BOTTOM OF SADDLE BAGS. Look for cracks from bottom of bag bottoming out against top of swing arm. INSPECT BELT. INSPECT REAR BRAKES, GREAT TIME TO CHANGE REAR PADS.
REPLACE TIRE ON RIM etc........

BEFORE YOU PUT REAR TIRE ON BIKE, SOME THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND.
1. CLEAN REAR WHEEL, KEEP TRACK OF RIM SPACERS, AND DUST CAPS IN RIM DURING TIRE CHANGE. THERE IS ONE ON EACH SIDE OF WHEEL ON AXEL. PUT THEM IN FIRST BEFORE LOWERING BIKE.
2. WHEN PUTTING AXLE IN, MAKE SURE , BRAKE CALIPER, ADJUSTERS, and ADJUSTER PLATE IS INSTALLED AND TIRE IS PULLED BACK INTO PROPER ALIGNMENT, BASED OF YOUR INITIAL MARKINGS IN STEP 4 ON BOTH SIDES. MOVE TIRE TO NOTCH #3 or #4 what ever it was ON BOTH SIDES.
3. TIGHTEN AXLE NUT TO 65 ft LBS "BEFORE" LOWERING BIKE DOWN.
4. RAISE AND LOWER JACK DOWN ENOUGH, UNTIL YOU CAN LINE UP SHOCK WITH SWING ARMS HOLES TO REINSTALL BOLT AND NUT. IT SHOULD GO IN EASY. YOU WILL BE NEARLY ALL THE WAY DOWN.
5. REPLACE NUT AND BOLT IN SHOCK, THEN LOWERING LINK. TIGHTEN.
6. CHECK BELT FOR ALIGNMENT AND PROPER TENSION. SHOULD BE WHERE IT WAS BEFORE REMOVAL. LOWER AND REMOVE JACK.
7. ON INITIAL RIDE EXPECT ODD BELT SQUEAKS WHILE BELT SLIDES INTO SPACE.
I had to figure it out as I went, this should help someone doing it for the first time.
