when I applied the red 2 inch exhaust wrap I applied it dry. ( I always just do what I want and not research it properly ) After the wrap I soaked it with water from my garden hose. ( I don't know why) I was impatient and decided to dry it with a drive around the block. It lost color nearest the exhaust ports. It kinda went grayish. My apologies for not documenting the results.

I am getting good at wrapping the exhaust. Rather than soak it in water I prefer to pre-paint the wrap , both sides of the wrap and then wrap it. After that I paint the wrap again when it is on the pipe. Dealing with flat black allows for heavy saturation. I don’t know if it will give me more rust protection for stock pipes or not . I only need about 18 months or so. After that I will buy a different exhaust. I am having fun with this motorcycle. Where it ends up , style wise, will be a surprise. Now I have to wire the brake/ turn signal lights.

Now I need to wire the combo brake light and turn signals. I will post pics as it happens. Before I post the pics any advice for how to take them will be helpful. I take the pics but when I try to load them it states that my file is to large ( if only the ladies would say that!)

On your phone, open the photo and take a screenshot then post the screenshot, should be half the size or smaller. Otherwise you will need a different app to resize the photo or use a computer. I think the limit on here is 4MB, my phone can't make them that small no matter how low quality I set the camera for (maybe front-facing has lower definition)
