Getting tires installed Friday the dealer handed me a quote for $485, said my XCT was leaning too far over on the stand and the stand and frame section it attaches to needs replaced.
Looking at the stand it's clearly bent up and looking at pictures it hasn't always been that way as it clearly leans further than it use to.
Currently I'm in the process of tracking down my extended warranty info to file a claim but the servicing dealer is doubtful it'll be covered. Fortunately, it looks like the stand arm itself isn't that expensive but in 35 years of riding I have never had to replace a kickstand... ever...
My question is, is this common? I see a little chatter about it with the Vision but not much....
