I have gone through 3 batteries in 4 months on my 2005 Victory Vegas 8 Ball. I truly love the bike, but I am wondering if anyone ele has heard of or experienced this. I had the stater checked and it's fine. I road to Myrtle Beach, SC in May, road for 2 1/2 days, went out to get another ride in and it would not start. The battery was only 2 weeks old. I put it on the battery tender but nothin.. Push start and it wouldnt keep a charge. Got home, bought another battery and found myself needing a jump a week later. When I purchased the bike, the dealer made a point of saying this bike needs a powerful battery, because it pulls a lot of power. He never mentioned there may be an electrical issue. Everytime I return a battery the sides are slightly bowed outward.
Is this common in the 2005 Victory Vegas 8 Ball. Please help!!!! I do not want another Harley, but I am a cross country rider and love my bike.
