Evening folks,
I’m looking for luggage that will fit over the backrest on my XC. I’ve been looking at the T-Bags brand, but they say they expand to accommodate a 14” wide and mostly straight backrest. Problem is the stock XC backrest is about 18” and is curved. I do not have the luggage rack, so I’m planning on sitting the bag on the passenger seat.
Does anyone know if the T-Bag will fit the XC? Or any other brand recommendations?
Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I have a T-bag, an old one, like from the early 80's. I don't slide it over the backrest. I only use it on long trips so I put 4 O type bolts (eye bolts)in the 4 holes that the luggage rack would attach to, then use 2 bungees to hold it on the pillion /passenger seat.

I have a T-Bag Tahoe and it does not fit. I am going to go to a local saddle repair shop and see if they can sew an extension into it.

Anything with D rings and adjustable straps will do fine. I have a Saddlmen that I put on the passenger seat and it works great.

I have a Kuryakyn Gran Tour Bag. It has a seat mounting pad that works great. It is kind of expensive but worked great on a 2500 mile ride last year. Here is a link.

Check out Saddlemen bags, in particular: BR1800 bag, might be what you are looking for. I've heard good things about them.

Thanks for the feedback. Its too bad the T-Bags don't fit. Looking at the Saddlemen bags, looks like a few may work.
