Now that I have had my 2013 Vision for just shy of two months, I could not be more pleased with the bike! It's not that it is new and the excitement of a new motorcycle has not worn off yet, but rather....I just dig this motorcycle!!

I have been riding bikes since I was 10 years old (I'm 51 now). Over the past 15 years I have owned a Kawasaki Vulcan 1600, a Triumph Rocket III, a Harley Davidson Ultra Classic, and now the Vision. I can say without even the slightest hesitation that the Victory is the best riding, best driving, best looking, and most enjoyable to ride motorcycle that I have owned.

In the past, the Texas summer heat has kept my riding to a minimum during the summer months. However, for the past month I awake at 6 a.m. and am on my bike by 6:30 - 7 a.m. - EVERY MORNING - to go out and ride the backroads near where I live while the temps are cool before I start my workday. I've never done this before, and each morning when I wake up I am excited to go out for my ride.

The bike handles flawlessly...amazing how nimble it is in tight and in sweeping turns. I can do things on this bike that I could not have considered on the Harley Davidson. The Triumph Rocket was a great bike and a blast to ride, but was not nearly as comfortable to ride as the Victory Vision is. My bike has Lloydz cams, pistons, timing wheel, and controller, and runs like a bat out of hell. I highly recommend these performance upgrades if considering them....you will experience a completely different bike with regards to power, torque and acceleration.

So...once again.... I LOVE MY VISION and cannot wait for the next ride! I can honestly say that the only bike I can see myself owning ever again will be a Vision.

Ride on my friends!!

Get the lowers. I was a hold out for the longest but finally added them. I found out rather quickly that I was dumb for waiting so long to get a pair.

They make the Texas heat much more bearable. With them turned in and the shield down the fairing seems to disappear. I love having a full fairing but in the extreme heat I some times wished I didn't. The lowers make a huge difference.

Also in the winter or rain you can kick them out and they do a wonderful job at keeping the cold and rain off of you.

I got a set of mounts from a member here and then added the CylceOps metal find(uppers and lowers). I highly recommend them both.

I still love my Vision more than any of my previous bikes as well. I ride it every day to work, gym, errands.

Already have the lowers...definitely help with the external heat and keeping the heat from the motor down!

I agree wholeheartedly about my 2011 Vision Tour Crimson/Black. Had it just over 4 years now and about 43,000 miles. I ride everyday to work, etc. It's the best bike in the world to me. I'm 48 and have ridden a bunch as well since about 14 years old. Being in south Florida is the best too. I'm 2 hours to Key Largo and 3-4 hours to either Orlando or Tampa. Nearly everyday...some body pulls at the light next to me and compliments my ride. It never gets old and that feeling of excitement the other post spoke of never wears off. I could easily sell these I believe in them so much. I heard when I was researching it that it is bullet proof...so to speak. I really is and the minimal and basic maintenance is easy. I'll never sell this bike.

Ride Safe!

I've had my black beauty named Lucilla for 17 months. Still on our honeymoon. Best bike I've ever owned and I've been riding since 1970.

I've never enjoyed a bike more than my Vision!

Hey Pops..new member here. Picking up my 2011 Vision in April. What is that backrest you have on your bike? Nice looking ride. Do you have lowers and is engine heat an issue?

Lowers are a necessity. Before any other mod, add lowers or you will wonder why you waited.

Welcome.

The backrest is a Utopia. Excellent product at a great price. Easy to install and comes with the under seat bracket. Note the link Bulldog posted above.

I live in South Georgia. Hot and humid. I don't have the lowers and find the Vision doesn't produce much heat at all. I do wear tall heavy leather boots.

When I purchased the Vision I was afraid that motor heat would be a problem. I was pleasantly surprised that the Vision is probably the coolest bike I've ever owned. Hands down.

Hey Bulldog...I REALLY don't like that Victory won't sell the mounts separately so if you know of anyone else with some mounts for sale please let me know. I want to by pass the plexiglass looking ones and get the CycleOps too!

Will do. They pop up from time to time so keep an eye out, but if I see some I will let you know.

I am running the Utopia backrest as well. Keep in mind, that they have to build it, once you order it and it takes about 2 weeks.

I did a 3800 mile roundtrip from Northern California to Sturgis and back, and all my non-riding family and friends said was, my butt must be sore, and I tell them, not one bit. It's hard for people to understand the comfort until they've ridden or owned a Vision. I just recently added a Yamaha FJR to the family, and it's nowhere near as comfortable as the Vision.

Glad your enjoying your ride. I love my cross country magnum and I think victory makes a nice bike. Some owners complain about the noise of the motor and transmission but me personally I think there bikes are solid .

Every time I come home from a ride I tell my wife how much I love my Vision! I've put a lot of work into this one to make it fit me perfect and get the motor exactly where I want it on the performance side. If they came out with a new Vision I'm not sure what I would do. Would really be hard to part with this bike. Part of me is worried Vic isnt going to update the bike given the low sales numbers. Guess that means I own this one forever. .

I stepped off my Vision last night after about 600 miles and am sure I would have been hurting if I was riding anything else. Gotta love these bikes.

Did 547 miles on an overnight ride and probably 50-60 in the rain with absolutely no glitches except pleasure from riding a comfortable and stellar handling bike! Guys I rode with were amazed at how dry I was from the excellent weather protection of the fairing and lowers. I love my Vision!

Almost every morning I hit the road around sunup and ride my Vision for 1.5 to 2 hours before I start my work day (I work from my home office). Each morning I usually also stop to grab a quick bike to eat or some liquid caffeine to help wake me up. Not a time passes that when I do stop, I either encounter someone at my bike looking it over when I come out, or someone approaches me to talk about the bike...this happens 9 out of 10 mornings. And...the comments I receive are 100% positive...not one "what the hell were you thinking..." type comment whatsoever. Just this morning, a father and son approached me as I was saddling back up after a bite, and the dad said...."beautiful bike man...what is it...a Kawasaki?"...to which I of course corrected him. Then, his son chimed in with ..."Yep, Victory....the new modern day Harley...". Don't know if he is right nor not, but in my opinion...Victory is THE American bike (and I am an ex-Harley owner/rider).
