I'm 5'6" with a 29" inseam. I've read tons of threads and searched my brains out. I had the XC windshield put on my magnum, but the buffeting above 60 is horrible. I'd like the forged bars and hard lowers, but not sure that I like the look on the bike, plus the cost associated. Would the Arlen Ness fork lowers help the buffeting? Or, do I need to suck it up and get the forged bars w/ the hard lowers and/or the Ness fork lowers?

The answer to your question is "yes". Had them on 2011 XC w/ness flip - stopped my head from vibrating. I believe the lowers are more important than any windshield on this bike. Also had the square crash bars.
