Check out these snippets from the accessory catalog!
I think you may be on to something. Notice how the wiring in those accessory picks is NOT inside the handlebars? That pretty much gives it away as a lower-end entry bike from Indian. The matte black hasn't been shown on ANY other OEM Indian and that would go along with the scout image so I can see something like a nighthawk scout being released on Saturday. Now for the fun part... Name your price projections guys! I say it NEEDS to come in between $9K & $11K (Max) in order to be extremely successful. Howwever, knowing the marketing guys @ Polaris, I think it will probably be a $12K to $14K bike.

Now that pricing is out of the way, how about an engine? Think they would do a scout with a HUGE 111? I kinda of doubt it as that was what they did with Victory and ended up not being able to build a entry level bike with a HUGE ASS engine. If they DO roll out a Scout, I'd almost be willing to bet dimes to dounuts that they will also announce a new, smaller power plant that could simply be a 85cc version of their 111. if they did THAT, now that would catch the biking world by surprise and send HD and others scrambling... Mark my words... you heard it here FIRST... as he wanders off to look at PII Call Option strike prices as of close of business today

There is a bit of irony in ndabunka pointing out "entry level" aspects of a $28,000 MRSP motorcycle

Oops!
I'm probably wrong on the smaller powerplant as well. Anyone want a killer deal on SIX August 14th, $150 PII calls?

The rumors were right and the price is RIGHT @ $10,999
Winner!

It look like they used the "CORE" frame that had been shared a few years back, dropped in a water-cooled engine and BAM!
