I bought a2010 midnight cherry kingpin. I am looking at adding a seat with driver backrest. I want to keep a two pc. system so I can remove the passenger pillon for a different look at times. Most prefer mustang which I have owned and are comfortable but you have to go with a mustang passenger pilloninstead of victory. Then you loose the option of ever adding the victory trunk.When you check your seat let me know what it is. Victory has a single pc. driver seat with backrest that I take would work with a victory passenger pillon. I was wondering if that might be what you have.
Also,is the 2/1 pipeyou have the victory pipe?

Victory does have a driver's solo seat with removeable backrest that can be used with a victory passenger pillon. I think you can buy a victory passenger pillon that will also accept the removeable backrest. The passenger seat is not my concern as much as the driver's seat I hardly ever ride two-up. If I can find a driver's seat with removeable backrest that is adjustable forward and back and not gain increase my reach I would be a happy camper. You may have the exact feedback I am looking for. Knowing how good the Mustang sits, I would hate to increase my reach by going that route and then have to drop extra money for a passenger pillon if there are other options.
Are your bags the Victory hard bags and how do you like them?
