I just bought a brand new (1-mile) 2008 Kingpin two weeks ago - Love it. It is my "daily" ride. It is outfitted somewhat like a "Tour" - minus the trunk (I wasn't thrilled with the trunk look). I passed on my VSTAR 1100 Classic to the wife (she loves it). It was my first bike, I adored it. This said, I was looking for a larger bike. I thought I looked everywhere (yes... even the "H"-word dealership); however, I stopped by a Victory dealer about 40 miles away after work on a whim... I came home that night, told the wife to come with me the next day - and voila! She told me that the only other time she saw that look on me when I was sitting on the beautiful black modified Pin in the showroom was: 1) Our Wedding 2) birth of my kids 3) when I fell in love with the VSTAR and RIGHT THEN, as I was sitting upon the Pin. The dealer (owner) modified the bike, so it has a seat with two backrests, put hard bags on it, a Victory removable windscreen, and a Victory performance pipe in lieu of the normal two. Between the power, comfort, storage, and the looks/questions that I receive from folks at traffic lights, in parking lots, etc. I can't see having any other bike than a Victory. I am proud to join all of you on VOG, and look forward to seeing your posts.
