With a 1" lowering kit and ridingn2 up do bottom out? I'm still tossing around the Vic 2" bars -vs- the HMD bars
Nope. Might need a touch more air in shock. I put the "2 bars and 1" lowering kit on my 2011 XC. No issues

We sell alot of links to XC and XR riders.. what i have found is 20% of the riders that lower their bike 3"s say that it rides a little stiff. I have done some R&D and found that the shocks are all the same... the only difference that could cause this is the amount of hydraulic fluid in the shock. Some have more than others. This would cause the shock to stiffen up when lowered to a certain height.

Found a simple fix..... redrill the shock bolt hole. Simply move the hole 3/4 of an inch up. This will give you alot of travel so the shock does not feel stiff. My XR is 3.5"s in the rear.. i have plenty of travel. Just FYI... for the guys who would like to improve their ride.

With our bars it is not necessary to add cables or wiring.. the stocks work fine. Hereis the linkfor the lowering kit.

After you drop the back is there a way to lower the front?

Can you drop the rear just 1/2" or is 1" the standard also is this something Vic riders have done to their XCT's. the HMD bars do you need cable extensions or will the stock work.
A 1 " drop in the rear is mild. Our most popular is 2". As for the bars you can use your stock wires and cables... they work just fine.

i used the 2inch bars from victory and the witchdoctors 1 inch lowering bar plus the shorter kickstand. running 50psi air ride im 5'10" 30 inch inseam 200lbs and wife 170lbs we rode the dragon and all the surrounding roads all week with no dragging or problems ( i am not a real over aggressive driver as im not real experienced in mountain terrain. i can run the dragon without going under the speed limit set and will throw it around the corners pretty good. hope this helps also no need to change any cables etc using what is listed above.
