Hey all,
I couldn't find anyone willing to work on my Victory in Germany where I am stationed. I removed the forks and I have a spinning lower fork bolt. It must have broken loose a little because it started leaking fluid. I tried to use a cargo strap to compress the fork but that didn't help. I have since then remove the top, drained the fluid and removed the spring (bought a spring compressor). At this point I would just install the new seal and rebuild but since the lower bolt broke loose (but still spinning the damper) I have to be able to retighten before completing the job. I have the Victory part number for the "cartridge" holder but can't find it. I found Motion Pro 08-0117 but it doesnt specify it works with Victory. I thought Marzocchi made the forks but I can't confirm that. I don't have access to an impact wrench currently. Has anyone bought a cartridge/damper holding tool or have a work around?
Thanks!
EQ
