Does anyone have information on replacement floorboards on th XC. The stock ones are ugly and ride to high.
I am talking about the PASSENGER floorboards men, sorry for the misunderstanding.

Wow, those large floorboards are one of my favorite parts of the bike! If you lower them, they're going to scrape easier/sooner in the corners.

Im thinking that changing the boards would be like changing the tank. The boards are a huge part of the styling of the bike.

If you do this please keep us posted. Im just curious to see what you come up with.

To each his own but those floorboards are why after almost a year and 12,000 miles later I don't need cruise pegs. I love em.

I agree and have read several others that their wives would like them lowered.

The boss thinks they're great. She's all of 5'1"... but she thinks they fit fine.

Do a search for it....here or on 'the other forum'.

We did a remove, cut, weld, paint. It worked. Only did about 1". 1.5" might have been better, but 2" is too much.
