Just verify that there is no problem with your cruise control setting. A friend of mine tried a Kisan unit,(100HD) and it interfered with the cruise. It would power on, but not set. Victory tech said it was being sensed by the ECU.

I also just completed this mod with the Custom Dynamics license frame. What I did differently was after drilling the hole between the original license bracket bolts, I used a piece of 1/4" OD plastic tubing(fairly rigid) and pushed the LED frame wires thru it then fed it thru the hole and the fender and frame opening to the area under the seat. That is where I made my connections into the wiring harness. Zip tied everything up clean and snug and was done. Very pleased with it and know of a couple other XC riders that plan on doing it since seeing mine.
