So maybe I am just bad at internet, or maybe this information isn't assembled anywhere. At any rate I've dug around long enough and come up with nothing so I'm asking you, the brain trust.

My 07 Vegas 8-ball has a seat on it that looks like it is ostrich leather. I am assuming it's from a Jackpot but it was on there when I got the bike so I don't know for sure. Maybe it's stock, I do not know. What I do know is that it's slippery and not all that different from sitting on a rock. I need a new seat.

My ultimate question is this: What models can I pilfer a seat from that will fit my bike perfectly? For example will a Kingpin, Jackpot, High Ball, Judge seat all fit? I am curious about whether the OEM seat will fit as well as aftermarket brands like Mustang and Corbin. I'm assuming if OEM will fit then aftermarket would fit too but I figured I'd better ask people who know more about it than I do.

My hope is that I can find someone selling a seat for one of these other models that are less popular and get a great deal on a new seat so I can ride longer. Your feedback and helpful information is greatly appreciated!

The Kingpin, Vegas prior to 2010 are the same with the exception of the"low" model on the 08/09. The "low" seat became the standard seat after 2010 for the Vegas, Highball and Gunner.

The low seats will fit on your bike. You will see a 1/2" or so difference in width at the side covers. Not a big deal and helps the vertically challenged stand flat footed.

I am not really worried about the low, the bike is so low already. Flat footed is not a problem. I just want a comfortable seat on the bike. So if I am following you here, a seat designed for an 05-14 Jackpot would not fit my 07 Vegas 8 Ball?

    That would correct.

Jackpot's and Hammer's have a wider rearend, and the seat is widened to accommodate. Gunner, Vegas, Kingpin, and Highball all share a same frame and the seats will interchange across all years.

So does that mean that a Jackpot seat would fit but would be wider sitting on the bike or would it not fit at all? Also just to clarify you are saying that the seat off of any Gunner, Vegas, Kingpin or Highball would all fit my 07 Vegas 8-Ball?

I do not believe a Jackpot seat will fit at all. I could be wrong, but everything I've seen before is that it will not fit. Even if it did, it would look really stupid because the seat would overhang A LOT on each side.
And that is exactly what I said up there ^^ about the seats.

Alright, thank you. I just wanted to clarify since your information contradicts what jmstang said earlier somewhat.

And if you are looking for a new seat, I have been considering selling my Mustang seat. Rider and passenger. Rider has a backrest, passenger does not. Some wear showing, but no rips or tears.

I think he was saying that the seats were all the same until 2010 when the "low" seat was introduced. The Low seat will still fit, its just shaped different. All of them are interchangeable.
