Has anyone here ever dealt with any of these? The engine sure looks Victory. Over all looks pretty bad ass, IMO.

I don't know how true but there were rumors that some of the E-H engineers and designers moved over to Polaris to work on the Victory line when E-H closed. The original V92 engine and the E-H engine do share some similarities. As well as some other design features.

At the time, I never cared much for the forks. Though that feature is the main calling card for the Hanlon E-H models. I haven't followed them in a while so I'm certainly not up to speed on the current E-H situation. There used to be basically one source for anything and everything an E-H owner would need. Though certainly not everything an E-H owner would want. I'm also not up on the current value of these short lived motorcycles. So I'd tread cautiously if I were you.

I'm admittedly biased in favor of Victory so if it were me, I'd probably look at a V92 instead of the E-H. Polaris made so many more V92's than the Hanlons ever made E-H models. No matter what a V92 owner thinks of their support system, it has to be miles above anything E-H could have.

All that being said, I too like a unique motorcycle and could get very interested in a Hanlon E-H under the right (for me) conditions.

Kind of curious how the transmissions hold up.

And you all are worried about finding Vic parts in the future? They probably built and sold less than 1000 of these! Cool for sure, but a museum piece only.

I had 1900 shares of stock when they were in production and went belly up. I never got to buy one but I thought they were more technologically advanced than other cruisers at the time.

Worked for H-D of St. Pete FL. when EH came out they added EH to their line. Man were they ugly, not one sold. Rode one and was thoroughly unimpressed although they did make a little more power than the H-D. (Butt dyno and a tech that will remain nameless on a TC Road King can attest to). Don't know if any of the engineers from Polaris were involved but the dohc 4 valve of the EH and the sohc of the Vic sure did look a lot alike. HP and TQ, were pretty similar if memory serves.

Interesting... I don't remember them as a company and didn't pay as much attention to the industry in the late 90's as I was still in HS/College, but it seems like they were just a little late trying to capitalize on the big boomer market that HD dominated at that time.

I looked at one & test rode but already had my 99 V92C. I believe there’s someone out there that bought up parts & has a fix to one of the bike’s issues, believe it’s a trans thing but not anything to horrible. Once upgraded I’ve heard they’re pretty solid ride for the right guy.

Test rode one at a local dealer that had a few left over after they went out of business. Was selling them pretty cheap. The bike felt very heavy to me. I still have the factory literature I got from the dealer. I was curious after seeing an original Henderson at Wheels In Time in Maggie Valley, NC.

Be a project bike that you're unlikely to find parts.
    Looks good as it sits.

Yeah, this one that's for sale was in a crate until about ten years ago too.

The only thing in the Victory Motorcycles 1998-2017 Book, says about E-H. Is that James Holroyd, who worked on the Victory engineering team, was a design engineer for E-H in 1998. When he confirmed that Victory bike #1, rode through the E-H parking lot and did a burnout! Lol
