Well, duh!

Weather broke so I decided it was time to get more than 6 miles on the odometer. Didn't have the juice to start! The other night while I was playing with the stereo and learning the buttons, the thought crossed my mind, "Better start it up so you don't drain the battery." Guess what I didn't do! Anyway, I was going to jump it, but the clamps on my booster are too big. So I go get the Battery Tender to hook it up. I was trying to find a good place to hook the ground and noticed this familiar looking plug, followed it to the battery, A BATTERY TENDER CONNECTOR! I love this bike and haven't got to put a single mile on it yet!

Not sure if your serious but yes it is.
Yeah,.... I pulled that connector & wires off of the battery when I installed the auxiliary lights on my bike. I figured it was for heated riding gear, which I do not have or will use.

I bought my Judge in October with 9,996 on it, and I think it rolled over on 11,960ish when I pulled in the garage yesterday. I rode 700+ miles in the first week, and nearly froze to death doing so on the way out to the mountains (no regrets). My daughter is six and she went for her first little ride yesterday. My intention is to wear this thing out so I can buy another ASAP. I absolutely love my new (is it still new after 2K?) bike and I'm sure you will.

However, if you don't get some mileage on it soon... I might have to start comparing you to my brother-in-law who rides his Harley 10 miles at a time and never if it is too cold, hot, rainy, sunny, windy, or otherwise.

Sounds like a few riders I know. There reason for not riding there new Harley ultra is to keep the re-sale value high .

Funny, I did not learn that my '15 High Ball came from the factory with a battery tender connector until I took it in for its first 500 mile service and inspection, and the Victory mechanic politely asked me why I felt it necessary to have added a second connector to the battery....

I don't know how you handle these situations, but if that were me.....I would have to have politely answered him back, "Cause I'm an idiot". Been there, done that!

One of these days, Mark, we're going to learn to listen to that little voice in the back of our heads when it goes off.
Anyone know what year they started doing that?
I have a 2012 xr and my girlfriend had a 2011 Vegas 8 ball and both of them had the battery tender cable on it when we bought them
The battery will be fine after a full charge Mark. On the bright side, I was able to get out and run a tank of gas through my CCT today:) I saw the outside temps were up to 75 as I was going through Soddy Daisy.

I haven't had the lower cowling [battery access] off of my 2012 XR yet.... So you guys are saying there is a
"tender " connection there? factory supplied ?

Good question... I don't remember seeing one any of the times I've had my covers off and was working on the Judge?

There "should be" a Battery Tender connection already attached to your oem Yuasa battery. That's IF the selling dealer of your 2012 CR did their job correctly.
