Good to hear Bobbers are still a very uncomfortable bike. My 07 Street Glide was pretty comfortable because it had the air shocks. It was just to heavy. I'm only 5ft 6 in. 148 lbs. And I had to make sure when I parked I had to keep in mind my exit. And I was always dumping $$$ into it.45k miles. Love my Octane for style, weight and power. Great bike

Made my bike look like a bad ass bagger Octane. With a hungry attitudeThat is why I don't own a Scout.

Good to hear that. Love my Octane. Would never go in reverse and buy a low performance Scout.

Looks good! Just don't like the Indian emblem on your front fender.

I don't get bashing the scout. Not sure, but aren't some of the engine internals the same, such as cams and Valves? If so, aftermarket engine parts (speed parts) for our bikes will become available in the future....not bad for a defunct motorcycle! In the off chance that I am correct, I praise the scout online to everyone I can. I did test ride one and found it to be almost as much fun as the Octane. In the end I bought the Octane, because It spoke to me in a way that the scout didn't. I bought mine after victory was written off.Seems I have a penchant for orphaned brands of motorcycles as is attested by my 1979 Triumph Bonneville.... Maybe there is a self serving reason for my Scout affection, but I ain't feeling any shame over it, and I ain't about to....

I don't seem to see any Scout bashing myself since as far as I know the Scout was the original Octane that was in development before Polaris had to get a Scout out the door asap due to all the people asking why no Scout in the line up at the Indian launch.

Also not sure about the valves but I know the cams are different between the 2 bikes.

By different,(cams) do you mean different cam profiles, or are the cams totally different forgings that will not physically interchange?
By bashing, I meant talking down about the scout like big twin Harley riders used to talk crap about "skirtsters". It seemed the only respectable bike on the planet ( to such pontificators) to own was a big twin. That mentality always reeked of "micro penis syndrome" if ya know what I mean.....

Only a big twin HD owner can be found eating its own young. Micro size mentality as well.
To be a soul to think there is only one motorcycle and one motor to own and ride is truly shame. Like eating and drinking the same thing day in and day out.
Watching the same program. Going to the same places for entertainment. Boring.

Some have been saved though. They now ride Victory and or Goldwing. I have seen them with my own eyes. A happy bunch with restored souls.
The best group I ever met was 4 dudes. 1 on a Vision and 3 on gold wings. Long hair and tats with HD stuff still on their person. All of them said they would never go back. Love their wings and the Vision owner knew Arlen Ness personally and that's why he's on a Vision.
    Arlen's favorite bike.

Everybody around here thought my bike is an Indian Scout because Victory isn't popular over here. I could careless, I like both bikes. I like Indian and Victory. I just prefer the modern design of Victory line better than Indian.

A lot of people approached me more ever since I slap on a less humble sound slip-ons and everybody thought it was a scout
