An Indian Motorcycles dealership that I came across today has all of their Scout dress up differently, white wall tires with spoke wheels, different color saddle bags, hard bags, different color seats, handle bars, bobber style solo seats, different tank decals.

It really makes me wonder how Octane would look like with all of these different setup. Octane and Scout look almost identitcal, but Octane looks more aggressive. Would be nice to start seeing Octane owners start dressing up their bikes differently.

Yeah... don't be a smart ass about it, I just want to see how octane would look like with different wheels and stuff to it, fuckin douch bag. They are both made by Polaris....

And what is so wrong about an Octane being a scout, they are both similar bike using the same engine, I'm pretty sure you probably disagree with the other guy who bob out his octane too

@Clyde frog No way Frog man, I like the Octane way better than the Scout. I think it sucks that things did not get to develop more from an aftermarket perspective for the Octane. But there are some things out there, and if memory serves Strokers in Dallas (Rick Fairless) has an Octane that he put a wicked build on. Evil Ethyl I think he called her! So if I had an Octane and I was looking for stuff, that is the man I would talk to.

In all honesty I have not looked hard enough at the Scout to see just how compatible it is with the Octane. I am willing to bet a portion of it is plug and play, but the body styles are different which means that certain bolt-on items probably won't work. But that is the thing; some brave Octane owners are going to have to give it a shot and see what happens. Best of luck to you.

Oh man, You are not kidding. There is Rick's build right there! I am surprised more guys are not upgrading the front forks and front brakes to dual disc setups. That one sport build from Portugal is fantastic. Actually they are all pretty cool!

I like the Octane a lot better too for its agressive look, i just like to see members do all kind of stuff to the Octane rather than just performance mod. I guess the Octane is fairly new and Its a very short production bike. I give props to the guy who bob out his Octane in this forum, I guess I like to see new wild things that member would do to their octane.

@Clyde frog Me too. I am willing to bet that in time more stuff will come out and more guys will come up with new and interesting builds. The project Octane page is cool because it shows just how many ideas got executed already. I wonder where those guys got their body parts from?

So what kind of look would you be going for? Sport? Bobber? Cafe? Touring?

I am not sure myself, I do like the sporty look and the muscle look with the rear wide tire. Tough choice, I don't see myself making it into a cafe or bobbing it because of the frame design. I see those style fit more into classic style frames. How about you?

@Clyde frog If I had an Octane I would be sporting it up like the gentleman in Portugal did!

That one is amazing, it looks like a whole new class of the Octane. I wouldn't mind buying a second one just to do something like this to it.

There was someone on here doing some pretty serious cutting on an Octane. I can't remember the user name, but a search should get you the thread.
