So did a quick search, couldn't find anything.

Looking for a pad to put on my stock vision seat. Need to keep it a bit cooler down there, or get air flow, something. Any recommendations for pads? Or are ya'll just outright changing the entire thing?

Went down this path a while ago as it gets hot in Arizona. Ended up with the Air Hawk R. Really good pad and fit well (especially with the cutout in the front) just takes some adjustment to get the right amt of air for your situation.

can’t specifically remember what size I went with (think Large), but do some measurements before you buy

I second the Airhawk R in large. I bought one after a back injury and it really helped. I used it on more than just my motorcycle too.

My bride bought one of these from Wally world. She claims it makes all the difference! The ribs provide air flow, and since the top and bottom are different patterns, it changes the pressure points.
Toss it in the saddle bag when not wanting. $12 range if I recall. cheap and easy. (Not my bride, the pad...) ;)

Ride safe,

One thing about the Airhawk is it will make you sit a bit higher. The key to them is to put very little air in but they still rise you up a bit. Another option would be a sheepskin. I have one on one of my bikes and it's good in both hot and cold. Got my from here, Home of the Sheepskin Buttpad . I've had it for years.

woah woah wait... the sheepskins are usable in the heat??? wouldn't that uhh make things warmer?
No. They hold heat when needed and release it when it's not. They work. Keeps your seat from burning you when the bike is sitting in the sun too. Your seat will be blazing hot under the cover but the cover is cool to the touch. They're pretty amazing. I got the full pelt to cover both the front and rear seat.

Polaris made a Touring Cool Air Pad for the rider and passenger seat for the Cross bikes but they never showed them as working on the Vision. I have them on my CCT. Their real purpose, which they do quite well, is to keep the seat cooler when the bike is in the sun. While you're on the bike, they don't flow any air under your butt. They look good on the bike, they don't raise you up on the seat and they keep boot marks off the seat if that's an issue for you. Plus they have the Victory logo embossed into them as well. I like them enough that if I found another set, I'd get them for my Hard-Ball as well.

The item numbers are:

2879363 for the Rider
2880738 for the Passenger

They have an elastic strap that goes under the seat to keep them on the bike. The Polaris Victory Touring Cool Air Pads are identical to the same items I've seen at H-D shops. Yes, Polaris has been 'borrowing/copying' things from H-D for several years.

I use a gel seat pad or a sheepskin pad for my candyass on long trips. Several brands are out there and rotate as needed.

I have both sheepskin & airhawk, rarely use them much anymore, they both work. Never used one but lots of long distance riders like the bead pads

I used these on my Goldwing, and comfort was there it just took a little getting used to. The thing these are great at is keeping airflow under you in summer time.

Thanks all for the recommendations! Looks to be between a sheepskin or an airhawk, they're both about the same cost. The long ride help and keeping it cooler while im in the saddle are the most important things so I think I'm leaning toward the airhawk,

I think that's a wise choice, and I have both.
