In the promotional materials that were released for the launch of the 09's (the 10th Anniversary of Victory), they stated that the monochrome badges were designed for the cruisers in and they should stay in place throughout its second decade. I guess we'll see if they stick to that statement.

In many of the videos I produced for the launch of the 09's, I made it a point to address that announcement. The Vision is not considered to be in the Victory Cruiser lineup and is the exception.

Here's an example of what I was told about the change from Color to Monochrome tank badges. This is addressed at 1:40 into this video:

I personally like the colored badge, however on certain bike and color combo's, the monochrome badge looks pretty cool. Hopefully they will mx and match accordingly.
