This is probably a newbie question but.....

I just bought a 2003 Victory TC Deluxe. It came with a windshield
that is 3 to 4 inches to high. I need to either buy a shorter one or have this one cut down. I've been looking at other Victory windshields in various heights. My question is how are these shields measured? If a windshield is listed as 25 inches where is that measurement from? Is it the total length of the shield from top to bottom or something else?

My other question is are all the Victory windshields a standard fit or are there different windshields for the different cruiser styles?

Thanks,
John

Most shields are measured at its tallest point. usually the middle , top to bottom.
I just cut my shield down 1 1/4" and it was pretty easy to do. After marking where you want it cut i used an 18 tooth blade in my jig saw. See the other post on this subject.

I ended up doing it myself. Turned out much better than I imagined.
If you didn't know it's been cut you really can't tell.
