Looking forward to the video, the RCX slip-ons sound great on the Scout hope its the same case for the Octane. Is there any performance increase and is remapping required?

I have a question about the mufflers. Specifically about the slash it tips. The octane has the pipes staggered ( the upper pipe is further back than the bottom.) so will the slash cut tips look like the stock tips and line up? Or are the mufflers two different lengths?

Our slash cut mufflers for the Octane will be slightly staggered. Our mufflers are the same length.

Thanks for the inquiry. The mufflers we offer for the Scout and Octane do not contain a catalytic converter.

My wife has the same pipes on her scout60, they sound badass. Quite a bit louder than my tri ovals.

Good to hear that! I'll have to post a vid when I get them because I don't see any online other than the scout. Should sound very similar if not identical.

Has anyone ordered from RC Components before? What was your experience? I made an order about a week and half ago and still hasn't shipped.

I made my original order for the slash cut mufflers and they said they aren't going to make those any more because Victory is no more. Fine. I get the delay for that. So we came to an agreement and I'm getting a different tip for the mufflers. Still hasn't shipped and I think they may be ignoring me now.

So far this has been a pretty lousy experience.

Try going to Accessories International, and ordering from there. Price is good. I tried the slash cuts and RC Components would no longer support those since Victory is no more. They had the 3" slip on's with a Blitz Tip in black for the same price, so I went with those. I would think you could also order an Indian Scout pipe, but not sure if the mounting bracket is exactly the same. Just got them today and installed. They fit perfect.

i have these and for the money they are great. very loud, but great. i notuce wearing a helmet that it traps the sound and is overly intense for long periods of time. i wish there were changeable baffles or a DB eater that would work.
problem is these are designed for harleys that rev to about 5700rpm and make a whopping 65hp.
put them on an Octane making 105hp that revs to 9000 rpm and they damn near get their guts blown out.
