With Australian Indian dealerships closing down where will you be able to order Victory replacement parts from? Indian Motorcycles will continue on with new independent franchises but no mention of what happens to Victory. The new Indian franchises won't want to take over Victory parts supply so who do Victory owners turn to in Australia for their replacement parts?

Here if a Victory dealer turns into a Indian dealer they are usually still servicing Victory bikes.

Many of the electrical components (starter, coil, solenoid...) can be cross referenced and ordered through a Polaris dealer. You can also find most parts on EBay.

Victory parts? The internet is your friend.

What’s actually going on their though? How many Indian dealers of what total number have or are shutting down? Or is the importer closing. A lot more additional information would be a good thing.

Buy it , bolt it on and plug it in.

You can buy it for $90 at a Polaris MC dealer or $10 at a Polaris ATV dealer. Your choice

The four Australian factory-owned dealerships are closing over the next year, that is all.
The Australian arm of Polaris, initially with Victory and later with Indian, decided that the best way to create brand awareness was to run large flashy capital city dealerships in prime locations. These dealerships could not possibly have ever made a profit, but that was not the ultimate point. Now that the Indian name is entrenched in the buying publics mind, the decision to close these stores was a fait accompli.

No other manufacturer, not even Harley, runs single brand dealerships in Australia.

Polaris already has a network of around 18 or so independent Indian dealers and their stated plan is to double that over the next year.

Where to get parts? Any of those dealers or the dozens of Polaris ATV dealers around the country. Victory, Indian and ATV are all on the same parts system.

I know for a fact that the Polaris Australia management will keep the parts for Victory available as long as they possibly can. We are fortunate to have real enthusiasts at the senior level. The CEO of the motorcycle division rode a Jackpot until not long ago and the guy in charge of warranties won't part with his Vision. The CEO of the whole group has been known to get out for an extended ride on an Indian. The Australian management was devastated when the Victory line closed after they put in so much effort trying to grow the brand here. Obviously, it was totally out of their hands.

These closures are not a step backward, they are a natural progression.

I could buy it but will it work as it clearly states that it is not compatible with the '14 XCT...

Here is what is happening in Australia. Polaris Australia owns 4 stores, company stores. The only other company store in the world is in New Zealand and that will continue as so for the near future. The 4 Australian stores are closing and the remaining 9 franchises will continue. By the end of 2021 the intention is to have about 24 franchises throughout Australia, up from the current 13 stores.

Harley-Davidson does have several single branded dealerships in Australia. They may be franchise owned by the same company that owns other brand franchises but the stores are single branded, no other new brand in the building.
