If you have a Victory Hotel here's the place to upload your pics of your Victory parked outside it.

Do you guys in Oz get the names of your towns by throwing a handful of Alpha-getti at a wall and seeing what sticks?

There's another Victory Hotel at Cecil Plains on the Downs, one at Gympie, another in Brisbane cbd. Used to be one at Cooroy, but names changed now. Want to string them together into a day ride?

Great picture and product placement @Motorbikerx. I'm thinking @Half_Crazy must be pleased as can be his old bike is in such good hands.

It still boggles my mind a bit a company that created a brand called Victory threw it all away.

    Sounds like a plan!
My lady had been suggesting a ride to the Sunny Coast sometime and I know there's some good riding up that way,. From the times the old Victory dealers had shop rides, usually North, North-West-ish.

Yeah I wonder who is more pleased with the outcome.
Tough question as we both would be for different reasons.
Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I'd be owning and riding the yellow beast.
Reckon Im used to it now, took a while and a few miles.
Still it's a bike that commands respect....unsure exactly how many miles I've put on it as the speedo sensor went out and the GPS unit Im using now has about 1200kms on it and till I plug the old speedo back into the bike I'm uncertain of the miles.
The new rear tyre is up for replacement and I've done no burnouts on it...I'd have to guess 6-7000 miles.
Our roads DownUnder wear out tyres quicker, I'll look in my log book I keep on my bikes when I get home as it'll be interesting to see.
A friend tells me there was an ancient Goddess called Victory as well.

Sure do mate I'll try to remember to post a pic next time I pass through, which I do often.
You'll have to come for a ride down to show me the Highball too, and see what my XC is like with VM1 cams.
And have a sample ride of the yellow bike.

I actually woke up in the police lockup in Woodenbong one morning,
A mob of us had been drinking at Urbenville Pub , that was back when I drank, and once I start I don't stop till I'm unconscious, knocked out, hospitalized, or arrested,
This night I'd been arrested, dunno what for, can't even remember getting hauled off in the paddy wagon.
Vaguely remember having all the blankets in the cell as it was a cold night.
Woke up all my blankets gone and nine of the mates were now in there too and they stole all my blankets!
Local cops let us out next morning and said to me in particular.
"You ya bastard, we get you in here again and you're going to Richmond Clinic!.....that's the nut house!
Still don't know why I was locked up.

That's one of the many reasons that I don't drink alcohol and more....
23 years now since I been locked up, hospitalized, knocked out, or got in any serious crap

@Motorbikerx Those are some great reasons to stop, congratulations on your 23 yrs of freedom from both addiction & a jail. Sounds like if you hadn’t changed your lifestyle you probably wouldn’t be here today.
