Here's an audio comparison of Victor's Tri-Pro and X-Bow exhaust system. What do you think?

Andy, You're a funny guy, they sounded just like Candu's ride.

Here's the factory video on the exhaust testing:

I'd have to go with the slightly deeper x-bow.

Tough call but I'll go with the X-bow as well.

Vic only shows the new pipes fitting 2011s. I'm sure the pipes will physically fit earlier models (2009 in my case), but will there be a map for pre '11 bikes?

Are these new exhaust systems street legal? I live in a sound Nazi city.

It's a toss up for me. The X-Bow does have a deeper tone, but the Tri-Pro sound really nice when you get up to speed, and the more mid-range tones really cut through. Both systems are MIC compliant, and are fitted for the 2011's. Dave

For me the sound is very similar between the 2, but without question, I'd take the 2 into 1 exhaust. That's the one!

By the sound, it appears that Cobra did a nice job with these pipes.

According to the Victory website these new pipes will only fit the 2011 models. Bummer because I wanted the 2 into 1 for my 09 KP

making more noise is easy! generally a good 2 into 1 performs better, it also has a different sound + is lighter. with the 106's output a little difference is hard to feel except where "drag-style" straight or curved loud systems loose low end power where we mostly ride!!
