If it's gold, then 10K or 14K will be stamped on the inside of the band. If sterling, then sterling will be stamped. If nothing, then assume it's pot metal from a door handle of a '54 Chevy.

Damnit man, pot metal from the door handle of a 54 Chevy? That’s historical steel! The value just went up! Way cooler than elitist “precious” metals!

I am asking $250 but l will wait for the documentation to go with it. I have been in touch with the company and am waiting for the specs. It is possible it is white gold instead of silver. There is also a lifetime warranty with it.

It was probably a "promise ring" from Polaris to the dealer at some point.

Welp, 'nough said. I say make a happy wish and chuck it off a bridge into a creek.

Just having a little fun with my google this afternoon it looks to me like 10k and 14k white gold is common for silver colored jewelry. 10k white gold would be 10 parts yellow gold mixed with 14 parts of other silver metals, making it harder and more scratch resistant than if it were made out of a purer content of silver.

Regardless of metal content I do think it would be cool to own. And it’s probably worth something like 250 to someone. But just because I think it’s cool doesn’t mean I’m into it for 250.

But they’ve promised to supply parts for the ring for 6.5 more years.

    Lifetime warranty?
Only as good as the company giving it.
Victory could have given lifetime warranties with there bikes.
Wouldn't do you any good after they shut down production.

Yeah, it’s a promise ring, a broken promise. This “ring of shame” has zero value.
